The work involves the energy, plant engineering, architectural, structural and functional redevelopment of the swimming complex located outside the walls of the city of Ferrara.
The renovated swimming complex consists of a covered area that can be used all year round and an outdoor area with summer solarium.

Indoor there is a swimming pool of 250 square metres in total with a multipurpose pool for water and functional rehabilitation. In the sports complex there is also a gym of 245 square metres in total, with equipment area and course area. Outside there is an eight-lane 50-metre Olympic size swimming pool, a lagoon pool and a children’s spray park with water cannons, water slides and activities for the youngsters. In addition, the solarium with sunbeds and umbrellas has been prepared, partly with green lawn and partly paved.

The project has been designed and built in full respect of the architectural and naturalistic context; more than 130 trees have been planted in the urban park and in different areas of the city, as part of a project shared with the Municipality of Ferrara and several energy saving interventions have been planned, such as the recovery of 92% of the water used in the plants, the installation of photovoltaic systems and latest generation boilers.
