The system is structured around an artificial turf layer specially designed to facilitate root development beneath the primary layer. This is made from recyclable material with a compostable matrix, and is filled with soil from Wimbledon and seeded with a variety of Ibiza bermudagrass.
Installation takes place in a nursery, where the pre-grown GrassPlus is cut with a special turf cutter and collected in big rolls measuring 118×1100 cm, with a thickness of 3 cm.
