Fresh from obtaining its FIFA license, Safitex will be exhibiting at the FSB trade fair, dedicated to sports facilities, street furniture, and recreational facilities.

Safitex’s presence in Cologne at FSB confirms the solidity of a business project that has transformed a family business into an internationally recognized brand over time. This event is just the latest stage in a journey built on investment, research, and an industrial vision capable of combining innovation and continuity. In the last two years, the company has taken decisive steps with the recent acquisition of the FIFA license and the consequent growth in volumes and areas of application, as well as consolidation in Italy and development abroad. These pieces, when put together, tell the story of an increasingly authoritative position in the new generation of synthetic turf.

The benchmark for this evolution is Eco Next, a proprietary technology developed by Safitex and launched over ten years ago. From the outset, the platform has addressed environmental issues using verifiable criteria: in 2018, the company was among the first to obtain PEF (Product Environmental Footprint) certification, thanks in part to its collaboration with ENI-Versalis. and this year, the brand’s products obtained EPD (Environmental Product Declaration) certification, adding a further level of transparency in measuring their impact throughout their entire life cycle.

However, sustainability is not the only feature that defines the product’s identity. Tests conducted by leading laboratories in the sector have highlighted a number of technical advantages of Eco Next turf over time: long-term reliability, resistance to wear and deformation, and consistent playability even in extreme weather conditions. Fields made with this technology also show superior performance when combined with non-polymeric infill, a solution that reinforces the eco-friendly profile without sacrificing performance.

This specialization has led to a significant strengthening of Safitex’s presence in Italy and abroad, attracting the interest of markets where sustainability has become a strategic priority. The Bergamo-based company’s products are now used in a variety of contexts, such as landscaping, large-scale urban and landscape redevelopment projects, and sports surfaces, including hybrid ones, where the integration of synthetic fibers and natural grass requires engineering precision. Industrial results are based on constant investment in production capacity. The Gandino site, in the province of Bergamo, remains the company’s center of gravity: a former factory converted into a technological headquarters. Here, the culture of sustainability translates into processes and quality control, all linked to a direct relationship with the local area that enhances deep-rooted manufacturing skills.

The company’s presence at the Cologne trade fair is proof of a journey that has transformed a family business into an established partner for sports federations, public administrations, and private operators at an international level.
