The multifunctional ChorusLife Arena is part of an urban regeneration plan that has transformed a disused industrial area with residences, accommodation activities and public squares. The inauguration took place on the 21st November.

The heart of the facility is the Arena, conceived as a large covered and equipped square, but totally flexible and reconfigurable.
Along the outer boundary, the volume of the Arena is linear and sober, while towards the interior of the district it moves sinuously: and the movement of the form is further enlivened by the composition of the ‘dynamic’ façade (200 metres long by 15 metres high), a “living” organism, composed of thousands of aluminum tiles that move and that with their reflections draw ever-changing waves in motion on the facade.

The Choruslife Arena is one of the largest dynamic facades in the world. The specific system of anchoring and fixing the tiles that allows the movement is a patent of the architect Joseph di Pasquale, has been tested in the wind tunnel of the Milan Polytechnic and has been used at Choruslife for the first time.
Inside, the Arena is designed first and foremost to host national and international basketball and volleyball competitions, with a seating capacity of 5,169.

The main hall is built in compliance with CONI regulations and the Italian Basketball Federation’s Gold level facility regulations. Around the cavea, on the short sides of the arena, are the accessory and distribution rooms. This floor houses the first ring of grandstands, built with a metal structure and packable.
To be usable 365 days a year, the facility can be transformed into many different configurations, accommodating up to 6,500 spectators in the grandstands and on the parterre.
To achieve this, the cavea is designed in such a way that it can be freed of the grandstands in a short time to leave space for the set-ups required for each type of event.
