The Bio.Sand infill

Bio.Sand from Ital.Project is a 100% natural infill from the secondary processing of food products. In particular, it is obtained from selected corn cob and processed according to a special production process that guarantees durability and greater resistance to bacterial attack.

Research has led to the definition of product characteristics that make it optimal as a stabilizing infill, of which it represents a true innovation; in fact, it is used in place of common silica sand.

In addition to guaranteeing the stabilization of the system, thanks to its intrinsic chemical-physical qualities, it avoids compaction, guaranteeing excellent drainage of the deep layer.

It can also be used as a performance infill: experimentation abroad has led to its certification.
