In Genoa, the blue mini-hockey by Limonta Sport

A five-a-side football pitch was converted into a mini-hockey with the use of a blue Limonta Sport artificial turf surface.

Leaving the Marassi Stadium behind, it is on the Quezzi hill that the brand new five-a-side hockey field from Genoa is located: the Quezzi Blu Stadium, which stands out both for the brilliant blue color of its surface and for its unexpected size equal to that of the pre-existing soccer field.

The works were completed last February by Limonta Sport, with what is proposed as a novelty for Italy, a promising project of collaboration with the Italian Hockey Federation.

In fact, the new Italian federal policy places hockey at the centre of growth and development, also favoured by incentive contributions; and the synthetic grass pitch is an indispensable element.

Promotional hockey can be played on artificial turf soccer fields spread throughout Italy, but when these can be transformed into hockey fields, as in the case of Genoa, the technical benefits are enormous.

Limonta Sport is certified as a producer by the International Hockey Federation, and can therefore guarantee the highest technical quality of the fields, are his those of Cernusco sul Naviglio, Potenza Picena, Riva del Garda in Italy, and Braxgata (Belgium), Pozuelo (Spain), Zoetermer (Holland) in Europe.
