Ahead of the upcoming Africa Cup of Nations, one of the continent’s most eagerly awaited sporting events, Italian company OMSI Srl has played a leading role in the redevelopment and refurbishment of some of Morocco’s most important sports facilities, with his seatings.

Specializing in the design and installation of seating for stadiums and sports arenas, OMSI has worked tirelessly to ensure modern, safe facilities that comply with FIFA’s international standards for hosting high-level competitions.

The Africa Cup of Nations matches in Morocco will be played in nine stadiums, spread across six different cities: Agadir, Casablanca, Fez, Marrakech, Rabat and Tangier. This means that the venues are located throughout the country: in the north, centre and south, on the coast and inland.

Among the facilities renovated by OMSI Srl, the Stade de Al Barid in Rabat is one of the most significant projects in terms of technical complexity and strategic value.

Located in a key position within Morocco’s sports infrastructure plan, the stadium underwent a major refurbishment ahead of the Africa Cup of Nations, with the aim of ensuring a high-level experience for spectators and international delegations.

OMSI supplied and installed approximately 17,500 M2013 folding seatings, over 500 Leonardo By Pininfarina armchairs, in both the Silver and Gold versions with integrated headrests, and 216 MP2024 press benches to complete the press / journalist area.

OMSI’s contribution is not limited to simple supply, but includes ongoing technical support, from the design of the seating layout to the supervision of the entire installation. The end result of the Al Barid stadium is a new, modern structure that fully complies with the international standards required by football federations.
