Thanks to the operative collaboration with the best Italian and foreign manufacturers, Tagliapietra is able to offer its long experience in the sector of sports facilities in the realization and renovation of synthetic grass sports fields.

Tagliapietra realizes each sports facility with the ‘turnkey’ system, offering the client a truly complete service, from the supply of the construction site executives and elevations carried out with the most modern equipment, to the specific in-depth study of the technological systems necessary for the complete construction, from the specialized building work of the substructure to the final synthetic grass, always with its own highly qualified personnel.

The most recent work, completed in early September, is the renovation of the football pitch at the San Marco sports centre in Feltre, home of USD Juventina Mugnai.

The goal of the Feltre municipal administration was to upgrade a sports facility that is very important to the community, by converting the training field to synthetic, thus making it even more popular at youth level and safeguarding the main facility, with lower maintenance costs.

In order to meet a very tight timescale, fundamental condition for obtaining funding, and since the work involved many types of work with the intervention of different teams (excavations, substructures and reinforced concrete, lighting system, irrigation system, fencing), the team of construction companies approached this realization with the main aim of having the best possible coordination of the various operators while respecting the time schedule, always under the control of their own internal functions of commercial and contractual activities, procurement and work management.

Tagliapietra’s personnel as contractor were supported by highly qualified and experienced subcontractors in their specific field, who were able to recover exceptionally well from the initial problems caused by the bad weather.

The synthetic grass adopted is a product supplied by an Italian industry recognized FIFA Quality Preferred Producer, FIGC-LND homologated, 100% PE polyethylene yarn, straight monofilament structure; the performance infill is of the ennobled type, coated with polyurethane film.

The designer Eng. Denni Bettega and Tagliapietra, with the contact person Enrico Pozzobon, kept faith with their contractual commitment to the client (the Municipality of Feltre, RUP arch. Andrea Calderolla), respecting both the work schedule and the high technical characteristics of the materials used.

Among the other works carried out on synthetic grass pitches in the last years, in which Tagliapietra has played the role of contractor coordinating all the necessary activities under the guidance of the Technical Director Eng. Andrea Clarici, can be mentioned the football pitch in Trento, in the locality of San Bartolomeo realised in 2022, as well as the eight-a-side football pitch on the Leccetti field in Volterra (Siena), in 2024.
