ESO RECYCLING Società Benefit Arl deals with the treatment and regeneration of sports waste, PPE, personal protective equipment, and waste from the fashion world in the “Amato Cannara” plant, located in Tolentino in the Marche region of Italy.
ESO RECYCLING is part of the ESO world where companies are part of a single supply chain that ensures the circularity of waste treatment: from collection on the territory, to the recycling cycle, a path that leads to transformation into something new and meaningful.
What waste becomes part of this circular pathway?
Waste from the world of work
PPE, personal protective equipment: work clothing, gloves, protective helmets, safety shoes, materials collected through ESO’s back to work® project.
Waste from the world of sports
Sports shoes, tennis and padel balls, tires, inner tubes, and bicycle helmets, materials collected with esosport®, created in 2009.
Waste from the fashion world
Scraps, unused fabrics, old samples, unsold products.
ESO RECYCLING represents the closing of the circle of the process and the return of new second raw material born from regeneration.
With an area of 700 square meters inside and 2,400 square meters outside, the plant consists of two lines: one dedicated to recycling and the other to the activity of production and transformation of the second raw material, obtained from the first line, into new products.
From the transformation process can be born: athletic tracks, flooring for basketball, tennis and padel courts and surfaces for playgrounds with the initiative “Betty’s Garden,” flooring for stores, events, stands, poured paving, thermoacoustic panels for construction and furniture, medals and trophies for sports.
