As part of the renovation of the Pala Cremonesi in Crema (Cr), CETA installed new stands to accomodate national competitions.
New CETA stands for 403 spectators at Pala Cremonesi

At Pala Cremonesi – the municipal gym located in the suburban district of Ombriano, on the outskirts of the city of Crema (province of Cremona) – CETA has installed new stands.
Several local sports clubs play there, including Pallacanestro Crema, which plays in the national men’s Serie B league, and Basket Team Crema, the city’s main women’s team, formerly in Serie A2 and currently in Serie B.
The gym, known as Pala Cremonesi, is being renovated this year with the installation of two new special stands by CETA, connected by a metal portal and completed by a terminal mezzanine with glass railings, bringing the total capacity of the facility to 403 seats.

Thanks to the project approved and financed by the Municipality of Crema, the Pala Cremonesi will now be able to host national competitions without teams having to move to alternative facilities in neighbouring municipalities.
This is an important achievement for the city’s sport, made possible by the intervention of CETA SPA, a leading company in the construction of prefabricated modular structures for sport and entertainment.

This operation not only represents a numerical increase in the number of seats available, but also a real leap forward in terms of safety, comfort and functionality, in line with the requirements of sports federations for hosting high-level official competitions.

This was a long-awaited and strategic project for Crema, born out of the need to bring the arena up to new standards following the promotion of Basket Team Crema and other local sports clubs.
The previous stands had a limited capacity and did not guarantee the possibility of hosting interregional Serie A2 women’s or Serie B2 men’s matches on home turf.
For this reason, CETA dismantled the two existing 2M series prefabricated stands and reassembled them at the “Renato Olmi” sports ground, also in the Ombriano district, adding and replacing materials to bring the stands into compliance with the 2018 Technical Construction Standards (NTC2018).
