Among the fencing systems offered by Plastifil, the mesh installed on certified New Jersey elements is a product that is particularly useful in setting up safety barriers around football stadiums, thanks to the possibility of changing its location if necessary.

A recent project of this type was carried out last summer at the Tonino D’Angelo sports ground in Altamura, which was made safe by installing New Jersey Sport fencing in accordance with UNI EN 13200/3.

The main objective of the project was to protect spectators, athletes and staff, ensuring compliance with the resistance, stability and functionality requirements set out in European technical regulations.
The fence was installed along the perimeter of the field and in the most critical areas, covering a linear length of 350 metres, with entrance gates.

The height of the panels complies with safety requirements for separating the playing area from spectators. The mesh is treated against corrosion by hot-dip galvanising; the steel structure is coated in polyester and finished with an anti-pollution, anti-bacterial and self-cleaning paint containing a suspension of pre-treated titanium dioxide nanoparticles and modified colloidal resins in aqueous dispersion.

The installation of the new fencing last July has raised the safety standards of the Tonino D’Angelo sports ground in Altamura, ensuring full compliance with European and national regulations. The work represents a fundamental improvement for the protection of users and the proper management of sporting events.
