The sports center located in Strada Baslenga, from which it takes its name, is a multipurpose facility divided between a multipurpose gym, football fields, athletics field.
Next to the outdoor athletics facility there is an indoor facility with a straight and an area for jumps.

The intervention described in these pages, which is part of the wider project of functional adaptation and compliance of the municipal sports center, had as objectives the redevelopment of the covered field through the extension of the roof and the remaking of the existing sports surface, the construction of a storage block / locker rooms and toilets, and the removal of architectural barriers.
The project provided for the extension of the existing multi-purpose field by demolishing the entire north side of the building, removing the roof covering, and extending the rigid supporting structure in glulam with arches, with a permanent purpose, closed with aluminium windows and doors.

The new sports flooring was made with a 13 mm thick drainage layer made of rubber granules and resin poured on site on a binder base.
The roof is made with supporting arches in laminated wood and secondary structure in purlins, and completed with a double PVC coated fabric sheet.
