The Pignone sports centre in Florence includes two tennis courts, a five-a-side football pitch and an 11-a-side football pitch with natural grass, where archery is also played.

There is also a gym for free activities, equipped with weights, machines, bicycle rollers and treadmills, specific equipment and bags for amateur boxing.

A recent change in management has led to the redevelopment of some of the existing sports facilities.

In details, the two tennis courts have been resurfaced with 10 mm thick, sand-filled, straight-structured, central-ribbed monofilament synthetic turf. The court is brick-coloured with a green perimeter strip.

In addition, the five-a-side football pitch has been upgraded with synthetic turf infilled with silica sand and laminated SBR.

The pitches of Pignone sport centre in Florence are not yet approved by the Federations; the managers plan to cover them in the future to facilitate their use in all seasons.
