The renovation and modernization of the Picco stadium in La Spezia took place over several years. The first stage, in 2021, saw the demolition and renovation of the Curva Piscina; in 2023, there was an extensive modernization and renovation of the grandstand area. The final stage of the stadium renovation project in 2024 and 2025 with the renovation of the roofing of the Curva Ferrovia.

The last of the interventions carried out as part of Monzello development is a covered space created specifically to meet the different needs of the first team.

The Sporting 55 centre, a complete and multifunctional sports complex, is the home of the L.R. Vicenza Training Centre at the foot of the Asiago Plateau. The owners (Red Circle Srl) invested in the construction of a new regulation playing field for the first team’s training activities.

The extraordinary maintenance work that Mapei, the company that owns the structure, planned this year began at the end of June and was completed in mid-August, so as not to interfere with the football championship. This entailed a complex management of the works, carried out simultaneously on different sectors of the structure, in the limited time available of only 71 working days.

The already synthetic pitch was implemented with a new generation turf and the adaptation of the sub-base, through a Public Private Partnership procedure that allowed for an integrated procedure that was economically more advantageous for the public administration.

A new stadium for Feyenoord will replace the current De Kuip, a historic facility that dates back to 1937. Designed by OMA / David Gianotten, it will be a highly integrated facility in the city and serving not only football but the entire community.
