Omsi srl, achievements and projects

“We can say that 2024 has been a very challenging year, but one full of satisfaction and important milestones for the entire Omsi srl team“, commented Marco Bongiovanni, Managing Director of the company (pictured below).

This year, Omsi srl has played a leading role in several projects, both in Italy and abroad, such as the renovation of the G. Sinigaglia Municipal Stadium in Como, the refurbishment of Atalanta’s curva Sud Morosini, the adaptation of Dall’Ara stadium in Bologna, to play Champions League matches, as well as the Granillo stadium and PalaCalafiore in Reggio Calabria, and the sports hall and gym of the Cittadella dello Sport in Tortona.
In Europe, references include the Cornèr Arena ice palace in Lugano and the Palacio de Deportes in Cartagena. Beyond Europe: the Sharjah Stadium and Ittihad Kalba Stadium in the United Arab Emirates and in Saudi Arabia Al Fateh Stadium and El Ettifaq Stadium, and overseas the Félix Sánchez Olympic Stadium in Santo Domingo.
“Not least Morocco, where at the beginning of the year we built the Salle de Rabat, a 6,000-plus-seat sports hall inside the Prince Moulay Abdellah complex. We are still working in Morocco, which won the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, on the renovation of four important stadiums: Mohammed V Stadium in Casablanca, Grand Stade de Marrakech, Grand Stade de Agadir, Grand Stade de Fes. We are also refurbishing the Grand Stade de Tanger, a FiFA-approved stadium where one of the semi-finals of the 2030 World Cup hosted by Spain Portugal and Morocco will be played. These interventions represent an important opportunity for us to contribute to the sport and infrastructural development of the nation“.

On the Grand Stade in Tanger Omsi had already worked in January 2023 when Morocco took over from Japan in the organisation of the Club Mundialito. “Today, being awarded the tender for more than 12 million euro, which includes a radical renovation of the stadium, we will face a new challenge“.
Some numbers of the Grand Stade: 74,000 seats, of which about 9,000 between VVIP, VIP, HOSPITALITY seats, and about 56,000 seats mod. M2025: a brand new monocoque that respects the FIFA 2030 criteria that require a minimum spacing of 50 cm and consequently greater width and usability, its width is in fact 46 cm.
“M2025 can be produced with copolymer polypropylene derived from separate and/or industrial waste collection, certified Second Life Plastic, making it not only a furnishing complement, but a step towards a greener and more responsible future“.
