Acquamarina Sport Life, concessionaire of the facility, has so far supported investments for more than 1 million euros that have involved about 16,000 square meters of sports area including 2 indoor gyms, 4 outdoor clay tennis courts, 1 soccer field and 3 indoor tennis courts.

In the new project, two glulam structures have been installed to cover a tennis court and a five-a-side football pitch respectively, while a second tennis court has also been transformed into a covered structure that houses 3 beach courts with sand heated by an innovative heating system that keeps the sand at 18°C even in winter. Moreover, in order to avoid energy waste, the playing areas are partially heated by separate heating systems and each one is equipped with temperature measurement probes, allowing not only to heat only one or two of the three existing courts but also to manage different temperatures for each one.

All the old coverings of the existing steel structures have been replaced with new, high-performance double PVC membranes.
In addition to investments in the actual sports facilities, the entrance building has also been completely renovated and now houses not only the reception area and offices but also a small gym for free body courses, a structure designed with particular attention to comfort and accessibility for disabled sportsmen.
