There is one year to go until the PNRR deadline, when all the projects financed must be concluded. the state of play.

The IOC (International Olympic Committee) announced the winners of the IOC Climate Action Awards at the end of September. While some projects were (rightly) rejected, this does not mean that the European Plan is not an opportunity to improve the offer of sports facilities in our country.

The topic of urban regeneration, dealt with in issue 365 of Tsport, is connected with that of land use: one of the aspects highlighted during the summer season that has just passed is that of microclimatic alterations due to the transformation of unbuilt areas.

We have also discussed this in the recent Sport&Impianti webinars. When faced with the design of a sports facility, which requires the installation of specific materials related to the athletic performance of future users, a generic specification definition (perhaps accompanied by the words ‘or equivalent’) is not enough to guarantee the result.
