The athletics facility at the Stadio Polisportivo in Belluno is the historically oldest and most important one in the province, around which much of the local and provincial activity revolves, both in terms of training and preparation, as well as organizational and competitive: although this has been lacking in recent times due to the supervening inadequacy and degradation of the entire facility.

The purpose of the intervention at Stadio Polisportivo in Belluno was to renovate the sports facility (athletics track and related platforms), and to improve security levels by including a video surveillance system and a system to regulate access to the locker rooms and athletics track through the use of turnstiles.

Once the bituminous subfloor had been prepared, and a coat of polyurethane primer attachment for anchoring had been spread, the sports floor was made, consisting of a synthetic elastic sandwich surface, obtained by laying a first 10-mm layer of factory-made prefabricated rubber mat with suitable specific weight values bonded to the bituminous subfloor by suitable polyurethane adhesive; then laying of polyurethane resin sealer over the entire surface, of a surface wear layer with a total thickness of 4 mm, consisting of self-levelling casting in two-component colored polyurethane resin, and subsequent seeding of thermo-polymer granules (EPDM) also colored, performed on the layer of two-component resin not yet catalyzed to achieve partial incorporation into it.
