The structure of the gym is made up of glulam beams that, starting from the entrance area with the reception services for the public and the infirmary inside, rise following a curvilinear course on the sports activity space that contains the boxing ring and the gym for the preparatory activity and is characterized by windows on both sides for its entire length. The terminal part of the building contains the area dedicated to the athletes with three changing rooms with relative toilets and, compared to the sports activity area, has a jump in height with a flat roof.

The modelling of the building has followed the nature of the surrounding park; the facilities are designed to minimise energy requirements and are oriented towards the use of renewable energy with the aim of creating structures that are as self-sufficient as possible, reducing the purchase of external energy and water sources to a minimum. The result is the possibility of substantial savings in heating, summer air conditioning, drinking water consumption and lighting.
