Thanks to a project financing operation, the municipal sports facility of Ospitaletto, which includes tennis, soccer and five-a-side football, has been restructured and brought up to standard; the last section, which has just been completed, is the swimming center.

The sports facility presented in these pages has undergone a complete makeover in recent years. The swimming centre is the latest venue just completed, taking the place of a public swimming pool now demolished.
The swimming centre consists of a building made up of two volumes with different heights. The lower volume houses the entrance hall and the changing rooms.
The tallest body houses a 6-lane 25-metre pool and a multi-purpose pool for courses and rehabilitation. All the pools are built with a reinforced concrete structure and plastic-coated reinforced PVC liner.
The roof is made with glulam beams.
On the outside, the old pool has been preserved and redesigned, and is now surrounded by the summer solarium.
Other work carried out in the sports centre included the resurfacing of the tennis and football surfaces on the training ground.
