Already expected on May 4, the official opening of the facility is postponed until when the last building under construction is also completed: the forecast is for the start of the 25/26 football season.
Robaldo: inauguration of the Torino FC Sports Center posponed

Rendering from the presentation brochure.
With the four fields completed, the inauguration that Torino FC would have liked to make on the symbolic date of May 4 (when the Superga tragedy occurred) has instead been postponed until when the service buildings are also completed — now in the finishing touches — and in any case in time to face the 2025-26 football season.
The redevelopment project drawn up by architect Stefano Seita involved the construction of four new synthetic turf soccer fields, including three with regulation sizes, in place of the five old natural grass fields that were decommissioned more than a decade ago.
The intervention also includes the construction of several functional buildings for the activity of youth teams, both for athletic and game preparation and for the possibility of holding competitions open to the public.

A first multipurpose building includes the athletes’ and training staff’s locker rooms, infirmaries, gymnasium, catering rooms, training rooms, meeting rooms and offices for the technical staff, as well as storage and technical plant rooms; a second, smaller building will house a second group of locker rooms and technical rooms in the west area of the facility.
In addition, the sports center is equipped with two grandstands for the public, positioned close to the main building, with 500 seats toward court 1 and 250 toward court 2.
From the point of view of environmental sustainability, the new project has significantly improved its environmental impact, acting in coherence with the City of Turin’s Climate Resilience Plan by increasing drainage surfaces and open ground surfaces aimed at decreasing heat islands and increasing soil permeability in coherence with Minimum Environmental Criteria.
