Abad Architetti Srl
Milanese studio of landscape, architecture and interior design, Abad Architetti was founded in 1999 as a spontaneous association between professionals, since 2009 it has been an engineering company. Specialized in the design of parks and gardens, retail and offices (banking), restoration, interior design. Projects in Italy and abroad, in recent years the studio’s research has been particularly oriented to the study of the morphology of public space, to the city inhabited in the space / time of “15 minutes”, to the attention to quality of life.
Main works, exhibitions and awards:
2021 – Municipality of Menaggio (Como): construction of a new playground in the historic center (completed);
2020 – Municipality of Venice: winner of the national tender for the redesign of 30 playground areas in the parks of Mestre (completed);
2019 – Municipality of Venice: winner of the national competition for the redesign of 30 playground areas of the Mestre schools (completed);
2019 – Municipality of Venice: winner of the national competition for the redesign of 40 playground areas of the schools of Venice (completed);
2018 – Municipality of Barcellona Pozzo di Gotto: winner of the national tender for the construction of an Adventure Park;
2018 – Project selected for exhibition at the Milan Triennale, “Best Italian Interior Design” event;
2016 – CONI Sport and Health: winner of an invitation-only competition for the construction of 4 playgrounds in Rome (completed);
2015 – SEA Aeroporti: Winner by invitation to tender for the feasibility study of a car park and user services for the Cargo area of Malpensa Airport;
2015 – First prize for Technological Innovation with the First Aid Clinc project, at the SIE-SAIE of the Bologna Fair;
2013 – Winner with the “Serso” project of the Futuwawa international competition for the design of an urban installation in Warsaw;
2012 – Municipality of Osio Sotto (Bergamo): winner of an invitation to tender for the construction of the urban park called “3 Cerchi” (completed);
2010 – Project selected for the exhibition at the Architecture 5 Festival in Parma, entitled “Architecture of the game – A prototype of an elementary school”.
