The old stadium of the Polish city, which has been rebuilt several times, has undergone a new aesthetic and functional update, equipping itself, next to the football field, with an international athletics facility and a translucent roof on the stands.
Renovation of the Bottecchia velodrome track
The Ottavio Bottecchia velodrome, one of the first ten open-air tracks in the world, built in 1925, has recently been refurbished, bringing the track’s surface back to its optimum functionality on the occasion of the “3 Sere Internazionali Città di Pordenone” (3 International Evenings in the City of Pordenone).
Limone sul Garda – The cantilevered cycle/pedestrian track on the lake
This is the most evocative stretch of the future Garda ring, just inaugurated, which from the town of Limone reaches the border with Trentino alongside the old Western Gardesana Road: with the particularity that, where the road enters the tunnel, the cycle/pedestrian path clings to the rock protruding on the waters of the lake.
Zogno (Bergamo) – Functional upgrading of the soccer field and athletics facilities
As part of the development and upgrading of sports facilities, taking advantage of the possibility offered by the co-financing made available by the Lombardy Region, was completed the renovation of the soccer and athletic facilities of the Municipal Sports Centre of Camanghè, also in use adjacent to the provincial school complex.
School gym at the campus of Sondrio
Following a competition launched by the provincial administration in 2001 for the general redevelopment of the Sondrio campus, the same winners as at that time, after completing the building of the Professional Institute, have now created the school gymnasium in the position where the concentration of sports facilities on the campus was planned.
Dogs, greenery and sidewalks
The topic was discussed by Bruno Grillini, architect, and Giovanni Bucci, veterinary doctor, during an evening organized in Trento on May 22 by the DogBliss Association, under the patronage of the Lions International section of Trento, the Order of Veterinary Doctors of the Province of Trento and the Municipality of Trento, and coordinated by Monika Mann.
